Love Island SPOILER: Lucie breaks down in TEARS and says she ‘gets on with boys better’ as she confronts Amy over badmouthing her to the new girls
Amy Hart’s feud with Lucie Donlan escalates in Friday’s Love Island as the surfer breaks down in tears after hearing that the air hostess has been badmouthing her to the new Islanders.
Upcoming scenes will see the pair try and rebuild their friendship after a rocky few days, when Amy, 26, slammed Lucie, 21, for ‘stealing her thunder’ when she made things official with boyfriend Joe Garratt, 22.
It remains to be seen whether the former BFFs will patch things up in the upcoming show, especially as Lucie hits back at Amy by claiming she ‘likes the boys more than her.’

After the boys head off for a spa day, Amy points out that Lucie has opted not to spend time with the girls, saying: ‘Right so all the boys go off, we get some girl bonding time, what does she do? Go and put her gym gear on.’
Elma Pazara, 26, suggests: ‘Maybe she doesn’t like girls,’ before later suggesting the pair try and mend their differences.
Later, Lucie confronts Amy, alongside Yewande Biala, 23, and Anna Vakili, 28, and ask sfor their opinion on her relationship with Joe.
As Yewande says ‘We want you to be closer,’ Anna adds: ‘It’s only because everyone wants to spend more time with you.’
Close: Earlier in the day, Elma is getting to know Yewande Biala, 23, and Amy, and is quickly filled in on the recent drama between Lucie and Joe
Meanwhile, Amy speaks with Curtis on the day beds about the ongoing drama between her and Lucie.
The blonde beauty says: ‘I’m upset though because we were really close and now she doesn’t speak to us.’
Meanwhile Lucie tells Tommy Fury: ‘Amy’s been s******g me off to the new girls,’ leading to the pair finally speaking face-to-face on the day beds.
Heading to the bed on the brink of tears, Lucie starts: ‘I thought we had sorted things out.’
‘So did I. I just feel like since you’ve been with Joe, I haven’t seen you. I’ve just missed you that is all,’ Amy replies.
Drama: Amy and Lucie decide to address their friendship in a candid chat, which leads Lucie to say: ‘I just hang out more with the guys because I get on with them better’
Weeping: Lucie can’t contain her emotions as she breaks down in tears again after saying she ‘thought their friendship was fine yesterday’
In a savage swipe Lucie says: ‘I feel like I’m fine with you. I just hang out more with the guys because I get on with them better.’
Amy tries to speak more candidly about their disagreements saying: ‘I start thinking that you don’t like me anymore. I don’t want this to be an issue.’
As she breaks down in tears, Lucie says she ‘thought it was fine yesterday,’ and Amy attempts to comfort her, adding: ‘I’m upset that you’re upset.’
‘I just feel like you needed me then and you don’t need me much now, so I’ve been cast aside. We can’t have an issue between us.’
Upset: It comes after Amy slammed Lucie for ‘stealing her thunder’ on Tuesday, as she went exclusive with Joe the same day Curtis asked Amy to be his ‘half-girlfriend.
Fans will have to wait and see whether Amy and Lucie can finally repair their friendship, and if this will throw a curveball in the Newquay native’s relationship with Joe.
Their disagreement comes after Amy slammed Lucie for ‘stealing her thunder’ on Tuesday, as she went exclusive with Joe the same day Curtis Pritchard, 23, asked Amy to be his ‘half-girlfriend.’
In a private conversation with Curtis on the day bed, Amy said: ‘She doesn’t talk to us anymore.
‘She’s always with Joe, she’s never with us. She might be in here just for love but I’m also in here to make friends.
Irate: In the Beach Hut Amy said: ‘They stole our thunder a bit. What about tomorrow? Why not make it special for us? It’s like keeping up with Joneses’
‘If things go wrong you need your girls around you. If she needed help from us we would help, obviously.’
‘Commenting on how Lucie only ‘spends time with Joe or Tommy’, she said: ‘Strange.’
She later added in the Beach Hut: ‘It’s a bit of a coincidence that on the same night Curtis and I become exclusive, they have also.
‘They stole our thunder a bit. What about tomorrow? Why not make it special for us? It’s like keeping up with Joneses.’
