There is a catch though – you have to spend £50 or more.
The Advantage Card promotion – which starts today – gives shoppers 1,000 extra points worth £10 if they spend £50 in stores or £60 or more online.
If you spend above the £50 or £60 trigger limit, you will then earn four points for every £1 spent as normal.
So if you spent £55, you would earn £10.20 worth of points.
You would usually only earn 200 points worth £2 if you spent £50 in stores – so the bonus will give shoppers five times more points than usual.
The Boots Advantage Card is already one of the most generous loyalty schemes around and this deal gives shoppers even more for their money.
If you're planning on spending a lot of money at Boots soon, then it could be worth going shopping this weekend to take advantage of the deal.
But otherwise, make sure you don't spend more than you can afford just to pick up the extra points as a deal is only worth it if you are planning to spend that amount anyway.
The promotion lasts until Sunday, November 11 in stores, and until Monday, November 12 online.
You can use the points you earn to buy almost any item at Boots.
But if the product you are buying is more expensive than the number of points on your card, then you won't be able to use them to pay for the item.
Some items won't count towards the bonus, such as baby milks, prescriptions, gift cards, stamps and any Boots services such as the pharmacy, opticians and hearing care.
Customers can use the promotion as many times as you like, in case you need to make several large purchases.
If you don't already have an Advantage Card, you can sign up online.
Boots ran a similar promotion in September which gave shoppers 21 points for every £1 if they spent more than £50.
Members can use the reward scheme on their phones by downloading the Boots App.
If you’re shopping online there’s an opportunity to maximise your savings by using free cashback sites like Quidco, where you can then get a percentage of the money you spend back.
Boots released its Christmas advert this week – and it's a real tear-jerker.
