Sainsbury’s customers can save 10p per litre on fuel when they spend £60 or more

From tomorrow until July 23 (Tuesday), Sainsbury’s customers can save a fortune on petrol.

Shoppers who spend £60 or more on petrol or diesel will receive a coupon at the checkout.

Customers who opt for online shopping will have 14 days to redeem the offer at one of 306 Sainsbury’s forecourts.

The discount can be used to fill up on unleaded petrol, super unleaded petrol, diesel or LPG up to a maximum of 100 litres.

“We always aim to offer our customers great value products”

David Pegg

David Pegg, Fuel Buying Manager at Sainsbury’s, said: “We always aim to offer our customers great value products and services, whether they’re filling up their trolley in store or their cars at the pumps.

“That’s why we’re offering customers 10p per litre off fuel when they spend £60 or more on groceries at a Sainsbury’s supermarket or online.

“With the British summer finally hotting up, we’ve got customers’ staycations covered – whether they’re heading to Scarborough or Salcombe, we’ll help them get there for less.”

The coupon is valid for 14 days from the date of issue and it cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods.

As usual, customers will also be able to collect Nectar points every time they fill up, with one point awarded for every litre.

Where can you collect Nectar points?

Customers can earn points from a variety of places, like Argos, eBay, Esso, Virgin Trains, ASOS and more.

And when they want to redeem the points, shoppers can do this at Argos, eBay, Vue, Pizza Hut and many more spots.
