The West Belconnen Warriors have landed an early signing coup for 2019, bringing premiership half Bobby Roberts back and also luring his cousin Brent Crisp from the Queanbeyan Kangaroos.
Roberts was part of the Warriors' 2016 grand final win, but spent last season playing for the Young Cherrypickers.
He and Crisp played together for the Belconnen United Scholars in 2012.

Crisp returns to his old junior club where he played in the 2004 premiership, before he joined the Canterbury Bulldogs and played seven NRL games.
"It’s good to have a run and have that family connection again," Roberts said.
"We had a stint together with the Scholars years and years ago, but we always wanted to get back and have a run around together again."
