A worker at a Burger King in Virginia is being praised for super-sizing her customer service with an act of kindness that has gone viral.
Nineteen-year-old Alexis Easter, who works at the fast-food chain in Mechanicsville, was pictured escorting an elderly diner to his car.
The man, who is known as Mr John, is a regular at the fast-food joint.
‘When he’s done I help him to the car because he has a terrible back. When we get to his car we talk and I make sure he’s safe,’ Easter told WTVR.
Her simple act of kindness caught the attention of a passerby, Elizabeth Chandler, who took a photo of the young woman and her customer before posting it up on social media.

‘Shout out to the cashier at the Mechanicsville Burger King, making this world a little brighter,’ Chandler wrote on Facebook.
‘Seeing her help this gentleman was so heartwarming. It’s so seldom to see pure simple kindness in today’s world, people going out of their way for others. She took time from her job to help someone else, expecting nothing in return.
‘Since posting this I learned that Alexis is only 19 and does this on a regular basis for any employee in need,’ Chandler said.
Easter says that she always tries to do what she can to provide the best customer service.

‘The man always comes in the Burger King, so when he’s done I help him to the car because he has a terrible back,’ she said. ‘When we get to his car we talk and I make sure he’s safe.’
Easter has worked at Burger King for two years and says that she also walks other customers to their cars when she sees them struggling.
Chandler had praise for other employees at the Mechanicsville, Virginia Burger King.
She says that there are several other employees who venture above and beyond their job description.
‘That’s the culture at that Burger King. Every employee I have ever seen goes so far out of their way for everyone. Another employee named Monica hands out plaques to those going through hard times, including my grandmother when she was going through treatment for cancer,’ she told WTVR.
Easter said she’s just following in the footsteps of her fellow employees at Burger King where kindness is contagious and other workers help out customers who need it
