Bindi Irwin is smitten with her boyfriend.
“I think I have found my one, and I’m so lucky,” Irwin, 19, told People of boyfriend Chandler Powell. “He is always encouraging me to follow my dreams, reminding me to stand up for what I believe in.”
Irwin, who also called Powell “unbelievably kind and optimistic,” revealed that he fits in well with her family too.
“He’s done so well, I think he’s passed the Irwin family khaki test,” Irwin joked. “We’ve had him jumping on crocodiles and feeding alligators.”
This isn’t the first time Irwin has sung the praises of her beau of more than two years. Back in January on “Today,” the daughter of the late Steve Irwin gushed all about Powell, 21.
“I just fell in love with this wonderful American guy,” Irwin said. “So now he’s got his car key and we’ve abducted him in Australia and it’s been so much fun.”
