Chrissy Teigen is working to copyright the term ‘p***y a*s b*tch’ after getting into a Twitter spat with President Donald Trump.
The former Sports Illustrated model appeared on the Ellen show to discuss how shocked she was that the 45th President of the US called her John Legend’s ‘filthy-mouthed wife’.
Can you imagine waking up to hate tweets about you from the president? Chrissy can and immediately responded with ‘what a p***y a*s b*tch lol’ before fans and Trump supporters went into meltdown over the sheer casualness of it all.
Chrissy, 33, said: ‘Everyone’s waiting for their day to come. So I got all these phone alerts and I go on Twitter to see it but couldn’t because I’m blocked and I had no idea what I said. I’ve said a lot of things since like 2012…
‘Someone sent me screenshots and my heart stopped and at that point you know you’re gonna get so much.’
The POTUS, 73, complained that ‘boring musician’ John Legend and Chrissy didn’t give him enough credit for passing Criminal Justice Reform.
Chrissy – who shares Luna, three, and Miles, one, with John – said: ‘It was a weird feeling. I think my eyes filled up with water at the shock of it like I can’t believe this is happening right now. He goes on these rants and normally it’s very late at night for him…
‘But you don’t think it’s gonna be you. It makes you realise you love Twitter and you love your friends and I had so many group chats going with various people. People making funny videos and laughing about it.’
The couple – who are goals, by the way – hit back by calling the former Apprentice host a ‘p***y a*s b***h’, which then began trending on Twitter as fans flocked to defend the famous duo.
The whole issue began when John did a story on MSNBC about criminal justice reform.
‘So John did a story on MSNBC about criminal justice reform so he was part of that interview I was not a part of it at all and Donald thought John was taking credit for it and me…
‘I didn’t even know he was filming this thing! I didn’t know anything about it and he went in. He called John a boring musician and said I had a filthy mouth.’
And in true Chrissy manner, she confirmed that Trump was correct as ‘John is a boring musician and I do have a filthy mouth’.
The couple spent the hours following the tweet drafting the perfect string of tweets to respond to the President with.
However, it took ‘the rest of the night’ as the hilarious couple wanted to make sure their tweets were funny enough.
If it all goes right, the Bring The Funny star hopes to copyright the term.
She said: ‘That’s a lot of asterisks. We got it trending. I got enough Twitter family and friends to get it going. Then it became [shortened to] PAB then it became PAB President. We’re still working on how to copyright the correct term!’
