Ferne McCann said she was robbed of her ideal pregnancy by her ex boyfriend Arthur Collins.
The reality star, 29, was pregnant with her daughter Sunday, now two, when Arthur threw corrosive acid over a crowd on the dance floor at Mangle E8 in Dalston in April 2017, within weeks of their pregnancy announcement.
Ferne described her heartbreaking trauma as she appeared on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast.

‘It was my whole first experience of a pregnancy and everything you think an ideal pregnancy would be, was robbed from me,’ Ferne said.
‘However when you separate the two, my personal life and what happened, you just look at my pregnancy as me just being pregnant, it was actually a wonderful, pretty smooth pregnancy. I really loved it.
‘I almost lived life to the fullest. I was like I’m not going to let this pregnancy or this situation control me anymore.’

Arthur is currently serving 20 years for the acid attack. Sixteen people suffered chemical burn injuries and three people were temporarily blinded.
Ferne dated Charlie, 27 – who is now engaged to his long-term girlfriend Georgia Shults – from 2009 until 2015, before embarking on a relationship with scaffolder Arthur in June 2016.
The blonde appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating after pair split in late 2016, but the on-off couple later rekindled their romance in March 2017, during the time she fell pregnant with Sunday.

Since splitting from the convicted criminal, her love life has been relatively quiet, enjoying short-lived flings with model Jordan, 24, and Love Island 2018 contestant Charlie Brake.
Ferne said: ‘Before I had even given birth, I was labelled to everyone and in the press as a single mum, “Ferne McCann, Single Mum” and when I gave birth, “Single Mum” and maybe it wasn’t but I felt like I was being labelled before I had even given birth.
‘I felt like you have labelled me from the offset and it bugs me and I think I hadn’t accepted that I was going to be a single Mum.
‘Then I gave birth and then I was being a new Mum and living it and I was like, do you know what? I’m proud to be a single Mum and obviously it’s my only experience, but I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else.’
Speaking of the moment Ferne discovered she was pregnant, she said: ‘So I actually did a pregnancy test at an airport, I was on my way up to Scotland for a job.
‘I was doing an open water swim and one was an outdoors activity with This Morning at the time. I done a pregnancy test in the airport, found out I was pregnant and then I had to go in like a full blown wetsuit in the freezing cold in Scotland. I told the doctor before. I just remember feeling so excited.’
