Kathy Griffin shows how strong she is at NYC screening of her documentary Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story

Kathy Griffin looks to be stronger than ever, in many ways.

The 58-year-old comedian showed off her toned biceps as she appeared at the New York City’s IFC Center for a screening of Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story for the 51Fest’s opening evening.

The project, which Kathy describes as a docu-comedy feature film, deals with the controversy that erupted more than two years ago after she held a severed head resembling that of President Donald Trump in a photo that went viral – with consequences for the comic.

On the red carpet: Kathy Griffin, 58, showed off her toned biceps as she appeared at the New York City’s IFC Center for a screening of Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story for the 51Fest’s opening evening

At the event, Kathy wore a sleeveless red skirt with pearls, and off-white heels with butterfly embellishments. She wore her curly red locks in a bob style at the screening in the Big Apple.

The comedian posed between the 51Fest’s executive director Raphaela Neihausen and famed journalist Tina Brown at the proceedings.

The Emmy-winning comic made headlines earlier Thursday as she appeared on the regional Fox program Good Day New York, where she opened up on the hard feelings she harbors toward certain entertainment industry figures.

One was Ellen DeGeneres, as Griffin said that she’s ‘not her cup of tea,’ amid a row after DeGeneres would not appear in a Joan Rivers tribute in the wake of the comic’s death nearly five years ago.

Moving forward: The comic has trudged on amid numerous professional setbacks stemming from the 2017 controversy with the president

The Oak Park, Illinois native said she’s happy for Ellen’s success despite their personal differences, adding, ‘I am just happy when a female, especially a female over 50, is still in the game.’

Griffin had harsher words for Bravo exec Andy Cohen, who she previously called ‘deeply misogynistic’ in a 2017 YouTube video, adding that he had once offered her cocaine.

Cohen, who denied all of the allegations, told Howard Stern last year that Griffin ‘hated’ him out of jealousy after he was awarded the CNN New Year’s Eve hosting gig (alongside Anderson Cooper) she was dismissed from following the photo controversy.

Griffin on Thursday said that she hasn’t spoken with Cooper amid a falling-out following the Trump scandal; and had no interests making amends with the Watch What Happens Live host, adding that she doesn’t quite understand what talents he has.

‘If he has a skill set I would like to know what it is … that’s right, it is hard to name one,’ she said.

Griffin, who worked with the Bravo exec when she had her show My Life on the D-List, told People earlier this week that Cohen treated her ‘like a dog’ and was ‘one of the worst bosses [she] ever had.’

Outspoken: The comedian has not been shy about venting her grievances with other celebs
