Katie Price is accused of advertising a scam watch company as fans complain they haven’t received goods

Katie Price has been accused of promoting a scam watch company on her Instagram stories.

Fans took to TrustPilot earlier this month to complain how they haven’t received their purchases after the former glamour model, 42, advertised them back in July.

Katie promoted the watch company Harry Lewis on social media, telling fans they could get a watch for £10 in the company’s 80% off flash sale.

However, some have accused Harry Lewis of being a scam after their emails bounced back when they complained they haven’t received their watches, but the money had been taken out of their account.

One told The Sun: ‘After I saw Katie advertising the watches on 23 and 24 July, I went on and bought four, at £10 each, for my family – but nothing turned up.

‘I didn’t even get a confirmation email after they took the money – and the email on their website bounced back. It’s a scam.’

Another fan of Katie’s wrote on TrustPilot: ‘Scam do not buy. I was directed to the website from Katie Price’s Instagram story sharing these watches she had received.

‘Ordered 22nd of July, email confirmation stated I would receive a further email when shipped, had no other email. Contacted them or should I say trued to and the email was redirected back to my inbox as a non existent email address . Absolute scam.’

‘Scam. Please be aware I bought two watches from this company and did not receive anything. If you try to contact them the email address does not exist,’ wrote another.

Katie’s representative told MailOnline: ‘Katie would never have endorsed this brand knowing what we do now- she has been targeted herself as other well known personalities.

‘This has had a terribly negative impact on Katie, who’s fans and supporters are her world, we are getting to the bottom of this and those responsible will be held accountable.’

MailOnline has contacted Harry Lewis for comment.

It’s been a tough time for Katie, who had to go to hospital on Wednesday to take a coronavirus test ahead of crucial surgery on her feet later this week.

The television personality is unable to walk after falling in Turkey, causing hairline fractures in her feet.

Last week, Katie went to a specialist after returning to the U.K. and told fans the prognosis was ‘devastating’.
