Love Island: Twins Jess and Eve reveal a secret way to tell them apart… so can YOU spot the very subtle difference?

As a new series of Love island kicks off a whole new batch of reality star hopefuls are dominating screens, with a new collections of faces and names to memorise.

But this year brought an extra challenge in the form of 20-year-old twins, Jess and Eve Gale, and it wasn’t just viewers struggling to work out who’s who, as their fellow islanders struggled to to tell the difference.

However their secret was revealed as the siblings disclosed a disparity during Monday’s episode.

Double trouble: Love Island twins Jess and Eve Gale, 20, revealed the secret way to tell them apart during Tuesday’s episode, and it all comes down to their eye colour

The revelation came as Mike Boateng, 24, chatted with both ladies at once and mistakenly pointed at Eve as he guessed: ‘let me try and get it right… Jess?’

Both the girls giggled to him and  told him no, Eve then revealed: ‘Jess has one blue eye and one green eye.’

While this might help the boys know who they’re actually coupled up with, it is still hard to tell when watching on TV screens at home.

Drama kicked off on Monday night’s show when the bombshell twins were forced to couple up meaning two ladies would be left vulnerable.

Jess chose to steal Mike from Leanne Amaning , 22, while Eve chose to steal Callum Jones, 23, from Shaughna Phillips, 25.

Before announcing her decision, Jess said: ‘It’s not a nice position to be in. You guys are all coupled up. But we’re in here for ourselves, and you’ve kind of got to be selfish in this situation and go with who you want to go with.

‘Since I came here, this guy did show some interest and paid me compliments, which I like, and I would be interested to see where it could go. ‘So the boy I’d like to couple up with, is Mike.’
