And Naomi Campbell has revealed how she protects herself from COVID-19 in a candid video shared to her YouTube channel.

The supermodel, 49, posted a six-minute long video earlier this month on Mar 13 titled ‘Protecting Myself Against Coronavirus’ where she donned a hazmat suit, goggles, rubber gloves and a Burberry cape.

In the video, Naomi travelled from Los Angeles to New York before the city was put into lockdown as she let fans see her step-by-step protection process.

The star started her video by admitting that she was ‘nervous’ about flying and had in fact cancelled her flight the day earlier as she ‘didn’t feel comfortable’.

Naomi then received an acupuncture session, where she allowed another person to touch her as they planted ear seeds to stimulate pressure points to reset her nervous system, she revealed: ‘We have to do what we have to do.’

Naomi then clarified that she has been deep cleaning her seats on aeroplanes for 15-17 years and only decided to document it last year, she stressed that COVID-19 is ‘all new for her’.

The supermodel continued: ‘I was meant to fly yesterday but I didn’t feel comfortable doing it so I’m doing it today. Something a friend said to me, “We can not live in fear” it’s so true. So here we go… you will accompany me from LAX to JFK.’

Naomi then changed into her travelling outfit, which consisted of a white hazmat suit, clear goggles, pink rubber gloves and a beige Burberry cape.

No risks! Before entering LAX airport, Naomi downed two shots of vitamin C sachets and papaya powder, which she stressed were ‘good for your immune system’, she then declared: ‘Alright, let’s go!’

She explained: ‘Important thing they say is not to touch surfaces, I will pop this [her hazmat suit] up.’

Naomi joked about her outfit: ‘It’s a little dramatic… also, it’s important to cover the eyes. My good friend [fellow supermodel] Linda Evangelista told me about the goggles.’

Staring at her reflection in a mirror, the star exclaimed: ‘I look kind of nice. I feel comfortable like this. I’ll put these gloves on in the car and then my lovely Burberry cape. This is it, this is my precaution.’

Naomi stressed that she wasn’t wearing this outfit to be ‘humorous’ and ‘for a laugh’, she added: ‘This is how I feel comfortable travelling if I have to. I’m keeping it [travelling] at a minimum. If I do have to go, I’m keeping it like this.’

Naomi concluded her video by blowing a kiss to her fans and added: ‘But in all seriousness, I think we must take every precaution that makes us feel protected and comfortable.’   

It comes after Naomi revealed her extremely healthy daily vitamin routine, which contains nearly 30 supplements, as she builds up her immune system during social distancing.

Sharing a different video on her personal YouTube channel, the Vogue coverstar took her fans through her all-natural routine, designed to strengthen the immune system during her time at home in New York City.

‘It’s important now more than ever to boost our immune systems and take care of ourselves.’

Naomi then took fans through her vitamin routine after her superfood drink, which includes liquid Golden Seal (used to aid digestive health and for the immune system) liquid vitamin C, zinc, vitamin D, papaya seeds, probiotics, and black seed, ending with three multi-vitamin tablets.

She said: ‘I want my immune system to be as strong as it can be right now.’

The star also takes pine bark extract, turmeric and oregano oil, completing her all-natural vitamin intake.

Naomi added: ‘I don’t like to take anything that’s not natural. If I feel anxious or nervous, I take lavender oil pills. They make me feel calm and they are pure, natural oil.

‘We can all deal with this virus if we have strong immunes. So let’s all take our immunes up to the next level and take care of ourselves.
