AceShowbiz – Rachel McAdams has finally made her first official public appearance after secretly giving birth to her first child. The “Doctor Strange” star stepped out on Tuesday, April 24 to promote her new film “Disobedience” at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, marking her first red carpet appearance since she has become a mom.
The 39-year-old beauty flaunted her post-baby body in a sheer Giambattista Valli dress, which was detailed with ruffles, floral embellishments and a deep V-neckline. She pulled her hair back and wore minimal jewelry.

McAdams was joined by her co-star Rachel Weisz, who is expecting her child with Daniel Craig, at the event. While “The Notebook” star has remained mum on becoming a first-time mother, Weisz said her co-star is happier than ever after welcoming her first child.
“She is just glowing and looking ravishing and gorgeous,” the “Mummy” actress told E! News of McAdams. “She just seems to be so happy and I am just so happy for her! She had her first baby-it’s so beautiful!”
Weisz herself announced earlier this month that she’s pregnant with her and her husband Daniel’s first child together. She already has a son, 11-year-old Henry, from her relationship with director Darren Aronofsky, while Craig is a father to 25-year-old Ella from his previous marriage to Fiona Loudon.
McAdams sparked pregnancy rumors after she was spotted wearing a baggy jacket and a long scarf in February. She was reported at least seven months pregnant with the baby at the time, but she never addressed the news.
Earlier this month, the Irene Adler of Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” was pictured stepping out with the newborn baby and her boyfriend Jamie Linden. The notoriously private couple was seen taking the baby to lunch.
The “Dear John” writer appeared to be smitten with the new bundle of joy as he couldn’t keep his eyes off his newborn son, whom he was carrying in his arms. The happy parents were reportedly heard gushing about what a “good sleeper he is” and that “he’s a good baby” during the walk.
