Roman Kemp baffled by parents 'toe-sucking' chat on This Morning

‘What the actual are they talking about?!’ Roman Kemp left baffled by parents Martin and Shirlie’s ‘toe-sucking’ discussion on This Morning

They are an exceptionally close-knit family, with Martin and Shirlie Kemp having vocally supported their son during his stint on last year’s I’m A Celebrity.

However, Roman Kemp didn’t have much support for his parents’ latest TV appearance as he was left baffled by a caption on the screen, which showed them discussing ‘toe-sucking’ on the ITV show.

Taking to Twitter, the Capital FM radio host, 27, wrote: ‘What the actual are my parents talking about on This Morning’ as he tuned in to discover his mum and dad seemingly discussing a kinky subject on Thursday’s daytime show.

Say what?! Roman Kemp was left baffled by his parents Martin and Shirlie Kemp’s ‘toe-sucking’ discussion on Thursday’s This Morning

His mortified response garnered a multitude of likes and comments, with Spandau Ballet star Martin, 58, even retweeting the post amid his son’s hilarious confusion.

The bewildered I’m A Celebrity star also shared the image on Instagram stories, in which he asked: ‘But what is that caption!!?!?!’

In actual fact, ex EastEnders star Martin and his former pop-star wife Shirlie, 57, joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on the This Morning sofa where they discussed topical issues and talking points of the day.

One of which was the news that a school in Wigan has been slammed after they had released a sexual health guide for students as young as 13, which gave advice for how to show love without having sex.

Discussing the toe-sucking drama, Martin revealed he thought it was ‘crazy’, before adding: ‘I saw that and one of them was run them a hot bath.

‘I mean, whoever wrote that, what do they think that leads to? The next stage?

‘It’s crazy. I’ve never heard of such…’ before trailing off.

‘Love doesn’t have to mean you have to have sex. The nicer things, pick them a flower, hold their hand, give them your last chocolate.

‘The ones like, buy underwear, is sexual.’
