And Taylor Swift is committed to leaving stress and negativity in the past ahead of her 30th birthday on Dec. 13.

Standing strong: Taylor Swift is committed to leaving stress and negativity in the past ahead of her 30th birthday on Dec. 13
‘There are certain parts of my brain that I don’t visit as often, like stressing out about my body, stressing out about being on trend, stressing out about people thinking I’m cool, stressing out about people thinking really anything about me,’ she said.
‘You have to toss out things that don’t serve you. That’s what I think we all try to do when we’re getting older, and you just hope that you’re getting wiser too!’
The Grammy award-winner is ‘really happy’ to be celebrating another trip around the sun as she turns 30-years-old.
‘I’ve been told by a lot of people [your 30s] are really fun, and I’m having a really good time approaching them,’ she said.

Surprise! Taylor delighted fans on Thursday morning with the news that new music was on its way for the holidays
Taylor delighted fans on Thursday morning with the news that new music was on its way for the holidays.
And despite all the drama surrounding her old record label and Scooter Braun, the You Need to Calm Down songstress still rates 2019 as her best yet.
‘This year feels more special to me than any year before it,’ the Lover hitmaker told the magazine.
The year has indeed been one to remember for Taylor, who released her record-breaking new album Lover with new label Universal Music Group, as well as picking up a grand total of six awards at last weekend’s American Music Awards, including the top honor of Artist of the Decade.
Doing so meant she eclipsed the ceremony’s previously most-awarded artist of all time, the late Michael Jackson.
‘Fifteen years into doing this, being able to look around and acknowledge that it’s special, I’m really stoked this moment can happen when I’m 29,’ the music industry veteran said.’That’s one of the benefits of starting when you’re 12!’

‘This is the first time I’ve been able to put out music that I feel is connecting with people, yet look back on everything I’ve made and feel a quiet sense of pride,’ said the artist, who shared the cover with Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston.
‘I’m proud of the things I’ve withstood, and I’ve been able to carve out a life for myself.’
The recognition comes amid Swift’s feud with Justin Bieber’s mega-manager Scooter Braun, who earlier this year bought a stake in Taylor’s old label, Big Machine Records.
When Braun, 38, bought into Big Machine, she described him as ‘an incessant, manipulative bully.’
The label’s co-owner Scott Borchetta first signed Swift as a teenager, but she has been trying to purchase back the masters of her first six albums, to no avail.

Scoot: The recognition comes amid Swift’s feud with Justin Bieber’s mega-manager Scooter Braun [pictured this month], who earlier this year bought a stake in Taylor’s old label, Big Machine Records.
Scooter’s acquisition of the company also prompted Taylor to announce her plans to re-record her albums originally recorded under Big Machine this coming 2020.
The feud was refueled recently when Taylor claimed she had been banned from performing her old hits at the AMAs.
Swift was ultimately cleared to perform any of her previous hits amid all the controversy.
A statement read: ‘The Big Machine Label Group and Dick Clark Productions announce that they have come to terms on a licensing agreement that approves their artists’ performances to stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms.
‘This includes the upcoming American Music Awards performances for Thomas Rhett and former Big Machine Records recording artist Taylor Swift.’

It was quite the setlist as she played Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble, Blank Space, and Shake It Off in that order sandwich between The Man and Lover.
The evening culminated in the I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker picking up the Artist of the Decade gong.
Swift’s astronomical success throughout the past ten years certainly makes her worthy of the honor.
Her five albums released during this decade, between 2010 and 2019 – Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014), Reputation (2017) and Lover (2019) – were all #1 on the Billboard charts.
Among her other accomplishments include three singles that hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles, plus three worldwide stadium tours and two Billboard Woman of the Year awards.
A great woman: Taylor shared the cover with Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston
Taylor was presented the Artist of The Decade Award by songwriting legend Carole King and paid tribute to the You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman hitmaker during the acceptance speech as she said: ‘I can’t believe that it’s Carole King — that it’s you — who gave me this award.
‘My parents are here tonight and they would listen to Tapestry and all your other records in high school…when they had my brother and I, they played those records for us. When I fell in love with music, it was right around when I realized how marvelous it was an artist could transcend so many different phases and changes in people’s lives. You taught me that’s a possibility.’
Her mother was obviously emotional as she had tears running down her face during the performance and her daughter’s speech.
