The phenomenon is actually where the idiom ‘once in a Blue Moon’ originates.

And as well as being surprisingly rare, it is also considered to be very powerful, from an astrological perspective.

Astrologer Lisa Stardust said: ”Magically speaking, Blue and Full Moons are amazing opportunities to release and heal.”

The horoscope expert adds how this Saturday’s Full Moon is an opportune moment for mend our bodies, minds, and hearts.

And after likely spending much of this year in a state of concern, confusion and anxiety, this type healing energy may well come as welcome relief.

Fellow astrologer Narayana Montufar said in a statement: “Full Moons have always been seen as moments in time in which the astrological energy comes to a climax.

“Since this Moon is happening on Halloween and while the Sun is in Scorpio – a sign closely connected to the spiritual world – this Blue Moon is an obvious invitation to get super-witchy.”

Halloween 2020 takes place on the same day as Samhain, a period some pagan-minded people celebrate to honour the dead.

Mz Stardust believes this holiday paired with Halloween makes these upcoming days an auspicious occasion.

This is because the veil between the spiritual and physical world is said to ‘thin’.

And when taken in conjunction with this month’s Blue Moon, those in astrological circles suggest significant happenings in your horoscope could be heading your way.

She said: ”This is one of the few times within the year we can easily bridge the gap between both worlds.

“The Blue Moon will serve as an extra illumination on the metaphorical realm, as Full Moons expose matters on Earth due to its effervescent glow.”

The renowned astrologer thinks this could allow some people to connect with our intuition, as well as ghosts and spirits.

So this is a pre-emptive warning for those alarmed by the paranormal.

If you wish to avoid anything related to real-life witchcraft this Halloween, it may be best to stay inside as the scariest day draws to an end on Saturday.

Mz Montufar adds if you are not tempted to take advantage of this lunar event and performing a witchy ritual around this time, you may be missing out on all of the mystical and enchanting energy in the astrological atmosphere.

Instead, why not attempt to manifest those career goals you have been sitting on for some time?

During this rare luminary spectacle, the Moon will also be positioned next to Uranus on Saturday.

This is considered the planet of rebellion and the unexpected.

Astrologer Mz Montúfar suspects this may well mean surprises are headed your way.

She said: ”Uranus’s job is to bring change, and while some of us might resist it due to the fixed nature of Taurus and Scorpio, we will have to allow ourselves to lose control in order to fully digest and appreciate what will be happening around this time.”
