Yankees fan desperately begs others to cheer during ALCS

Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night wasn’t loud enough for this hometown fan.

“Everybody, we gotta get up,” a man was recorded telling his nearby peers during Game 3 of the ALCS.  “We’re playing [Houston ace Gerrit] Cole. This is the game right here. Get. up. Let’s go. I don’t understand. I don’t understand why you buy all these tickets if you don’t want to win the game. I don’t understand. Couldn’t be me. Wouldn’t be me. Shall not be me. I will not sit with two outs in the American League Championship Series.”

But others remained sitting in the section that appeared to be near home plate.

Meanwhile in the outfield, the Astros’ Josh Reddick said he was the target of jeers and objects being thrown onto the field by Yankee fans.

The Astros beat the Yanks 4-1 to take a 2-1 lead in the series with Game 4 slated for Thursday night in The Bronx.
