Clubber, 23, scarred for life after thug chucks bottle at her face in nightclub

A young clubber will be scarred for life after a nightclub thug lobbed a wine bottle at her face.

Cheyenne Mottishaw, 23, was left with nerves “hanging out” of her face after being attacked outside Sheffield’s Honeycomb nightclub last April.

She was force to eat through a syringe for several weeks after the assault smashed her teeth and fractured her jaw.

Brave Cheyenne told how she was left needing extensive facial and dental surgery – and says she’s only just become confident enough to leave the house.

She said: “All I can remember is getting out of the taxi and then waking up in hospital.

“I was on the floor and not responding. My friends told me they thought I was dead.

“The pain was awful. I couldn't shut my mouth and I didn't eat for days.

“The nerves in my teeth were hanging out so I had to wear a splint for 6 weeks to protect my mouth from infection.”

Cops haven’t managed to identify her attacker yet – but have released further CCTV footage of the incident in a bid to find witnesses.

Cheyenne added: “People just seem to think they can throw bottles and there not to be any consequences, but it could kill somebody.

“It seems to be happening more in Sheffield at the moment.

“I would also like nightclubs to stop selling glass bottles and using glass cups so this kind of thing stops happening.”
