Jubilee Line suspended after power failure as TfL ‘unsure’ how long it’ll last

The Jubilee Line has been suspended after a power failure as commuters fear the problem will last through rush hour.

Its official Twitter page said: "Line Status: We’re still suspended on the entire line while we respond to a power failure.

"Your tickets will be accept on London buses, Overground, DLR, c2c and South Eastern rail services."

Engineers are working to restore a normal service as quickly as possible.

People are being advised to use alternative routes.



Mirror Online has approached TfL for comment, but in response to one worried commuter on Twitter, a spokesperson said they ‘don’t know’ when the problem will be fixed.

Other travellers have also been expressing their frustration over Twitter.

One said: "When the Jubilee line is suspended in North Greenwich, my whole day is suspended."

Another added: "Just been informed by my employer that TfL currently does NOT expect jubileeline to be operating for today’s pm peak."

Ciara, another Twitter user said: "Jubilee line going down has ruined my whole life I don’t deserve to pay £20 for an Uber to Euston just to miss my train."

Another wrote: "EVERYONE TRAVELLING IN LDN TODAY! jubileeline southbound completely shut off. Really messed my morning up.(sic)."
