Saints fan robs smoke shop after pummeling worker: cops

He’s no saint.

A man asking to use the bathroom inside a Brooklyn smoke shop clobbered an employee and then robbed the place, cops said on Wednesday morning.

The stranger, wearing a New Orleans Saints football jacket, went to use the restroom inside Tony’s Smoke Shop on Wyckoff Avenue near Suydam Street in Bushwick just before 11:30 a.m. on March 2.

He told a 65-year-old worker that there was a dead rat in the bathroom, and asked him to come clean it up, police said.

When the unsuspecting working went to check for the expired rodent, the man began hitting him with an unidentified object, leaving him dazed as he made his way to the cash register.

Police video from the incident shows the crook pulling the register from the wall and throwing it to the ground in an attempt to open it. He made off with $400 cash and the victim’s iPhone, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for cuts and bruises.

Police described the wanted man as 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.
