Anthony Joshua v Oleksandr Usyk latest odds and free bets: AJ the underdog for summer rematch

ANTHONY JOSHUA will go into his fight with the Oleksandr Usyk as the underdog, in a bout expected to take place this summer.

The rematch is expected to be announced in the coming days, after the Ukrainian defeated AJ by unanimous decision back in September at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Bookmakers' have backed the Ukrainian Usyk as the favourite to win the rematch, with Sky Bet making him odds-on at 1/2 to successfully defend his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles.

Joshua, meanwhile, has been priced as the underdog, a role seldom known to him. Betfair are offering 7/4 odds for Joshua to end the night back in possession of the belts.

Joshua, for the second time in his career, will be going into the fight looking to win back all four titles that he lost last autumn, boasting a career record of 24-2.

The 32-year-old will be aiming to become three-time unified heavyweight champion, having won all four belts initially after beating Joseph Parker in Cardiff in 2018.

After his shock loss to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, 'AJ' was quick to win back the belts that he lost, and won the rematch at the first time of asking later in the year in Saudi Arabia.

35-year-old Usyk, was previously the undisputed unified cruiserweight champion, before making the step up to the heavyweight division in 2019.
