The Gunners spent over £150million on new additions last summer.
Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale and Takehiro Tomiyasu all arrived in North London and have been mainstays in Mikel Arteta's starting XI.
There was little in the way of incoming activity in January.
But the club did manage to reduce their wage bill by flogging Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his £350,000-a-week wages to Barcelona on a free transfer.
Defenders Calum Chambers and Sead Kolasinac also left the club on a permanent basis.
And now, according to football.london, owner Stan Kroenke is prepared to bankroll technical director Edu's plan for a 'significant summer outlay'.
But who are the most likely arrivals at Arsenal?
Real Sociedad star Alexander Isak is the favourite at 5/6 with Betfair.
Arteta and Co. are desperately in need of a striker with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both seeing their contracts expire at the end of the campaign.

The 22-year-old has scored 41 goals in 119 appearances for the Spanish side, ands has a further eight at international level for Sweden.
Reports claim Arsenal are 'in contact' with Sociedad but the player would favour a move to Barcelona if the Xavi's side came knocking.
Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin has long been linked with a move to London and is priced at 5/2 to complete a switch this summer.
However, the England ace is contracted at Goodison Park until June 2025 and much could depend on the Toffees avoiding relegation.
Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma is offered at 4/1.
Aston Villa saw their £35m bid knocked back over the summer with the Seagulls holding out for around £50m for their Mali international.
Forwards Patrik Schick and Ollie Watkins are the final pair at odds of 5/1 and 7/1 respectively.
Watkins previously revealed that his footballing idol was Thierry Henry, and that playing for Arsenal would be his 'dream' move.
He said in September: "That's the dream to play for Arsenal one day. But it's a long shot. It's only because my family support them and stuff like that. But that's a long-term goal."
