    Pepe's Arsenal career analysed

Nicolas Pepe is a flop who Arsenal should get rid of immediately, according to Jamie O'Hara.

The football pundit delivered the brutal verdit whilst analysing Pepe's impact at the club.

He said on talkSPORT: "I would say sell.

“Get rid. It was kind of a shocking signing really. £75 million, what paid over five years?

“What is that? It’s ridiculous. If they can get money back for him, then get rid of him because I don’t think he is good enough to play in this Arteta team.”

    How Ramsdale handled online trolls

Aaron Ramsdale has revealed how he dealt with the abuse aimed at him by online trolls when he moved to Arsenal.

Ramsdale said: "At the very start it was difficult. I had a lot of negativity around the signing, with idiots online saying don't sign. Not necessarily death threats but threats saying, 'we know where you live' and things like that. Trying to scare me.

"Quite quickly I turned all that stuff off. Social media for me is a place to communicate with my friends and with the fans as well, but with limits on who can actually reach me.

"It was safer for me, but also my family as well. My mum and dad are obviously on social media.

“They don't really know what they are doing, but it's quite easy for them to type in 'Ramsdale' on Twitter to get to my page and end up on a page where there is a lot of negativity and abuse and then they read it and get upset. So it did make me feel a lot safer."

    Guendozi's not to blame

Matteo Guendozi's not to blame for his ill-fated spell with Arsenal, according to club legend Jérémie Aliadière.

Speaking exclusively to Ladbrokes at the launch of their 5-A-Side bet on Crystal Palace v Arsenal', he said : “Things have changed a lot at Arsenal from when Matteo joined to where the club are today.

“Sometimes it's a little bit too easy to just blame the player's attitude when explaining why things haven't quite worked out.

“Sometimes it's simply a matter of timing and, like I said, he was brought in at a very important transitional phase for Arsenal, and was a player Mikel Arteta inherited when the club were under a lot of pressure to deliver performances, and his personality at that moment in time perhaps wasn't right for the manager.

“But it's a different team now and you do wonder how things might have been if he was still an Arsenal player today.”
