CHELSEA stars N'Golo Kante and Marcos Alonso travelled across the capital to watch the boxing on Thursday night.
The pair were in the audience for Richard Riakporhe's points victory against Jack Massey that won him the British cruiserweight title.
That was the headline fight on the card at the iconic York Hall in East London's Bethnal Green.
Both players will be hoping to feature for Chelsea on Sunday when the Blues travel to take on city rivals Tottenham.
But while Kante is all-but guaranteed a starting spot when fit in Frank Lampard's starting XI, Alonso's situation is very different.
The Spaniard, 28, has not featured for the Blues since November 5 when he was hooked at half-time in the dramatic 4-4 draw against Ajax.
ALONSO SET FOR EXIT?
Reece James came on in his place with Cesar Azpilicueta moved across to left-back as Chelsea fought back for a point – with both full-backs getting on the scoresheet.
Two of James, Azpilicueta and Emerson have started the four matches since but there has been no sign of Alonso in the matchday squads.
Lampard was asked about Alonso's exclusion.
He said: "I have selection choices in different positions. We need a squad.
"Some players will be disappointed. But we need everyone."
