Deshaun Watson’s agent has a message: False allegations get prosecuted, too.

With Watson suddenly under fire from seven lawsuits filed over his alleged mistreatment of women — including sexual assault — agent David Mulugheta took to Twitter, where the social media mob is ready to convict Watson before any legal process even begins.

“Sexual assault is real,” wrote Mulugheta, who represents dozens of high profile NFL clients. “Victims should be heard, offenders prosecuted.

“Individuals fabricate stories in pursuit of financial gain often. Their victims should be heard, and those offenders also prosecuted.

“I simply hope we keep this same energy with the truth.”

Watson denied the first claim and ever mistreating women, and said he was first presented with an opportunity to pay off his accuser before the lawsuit was filed. Other similar claims have been filed since then, all by Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee.

Buzbee has claimed two more cases — for a total of nine — are coming against Watson, who is being sued for compensatory and punitive damages. Watson, who is considered a franchise-changing asset on the NFL trade market because he wants out of the Texans, is under investigation by the NFL, as is standard protocol in a situation like this.
