Classy five-year-old MUTAMAASIK (6.00 Meydan) looks the best bet on Thursday's card.
The formerly high-class Roger Varian inmate started 2020 on a high note, with an excellent third in the Buckingham Palace Handicap at Royal Ascot.
But he had a quiet end to the season and has since been switched to the Doug Watson stable.
Watson is a fantastic trainer and the horse, who goes well fresh, has slipped to a very tempting mark.
In the feature UAE 2000 Guineas Trial, keep it simple and stick with Godolphin.
REBEL'S ROMANCE (4.50 Meydan) is unbeaten in two starts and there is every reason to expect he can make it a perfect 3-3 for Charlie Appleby.
He tackles dirt for the first time, but on breeding and his run style the surface shouldn't hold too many fears.
The Appleby yard have farmed races of this nature at the Carnival in recent years and they will have had any number of potential candidates for a UAE Guineas campaign.
The fact he is their number one speaks volumes and the good-looking son of Dubawi appeals as the type to go from strength to strength season.
