England overcame going a goal down to Denmark after a brilliant free kick from Mikkel Damsgaard stunned Wembley into a momentary silence.

But Raheem Sterling forced an own goal before half time and then won the extra time penalty that secured the victory.

Harry Kane’s shot was saved by Leicester star Kasper Schmeichel, but he followed up to score the rebound, sending England into their first final in 55 years.

They now face Roberto Mancini’s side on Sunday evening for their shot at glory.
