EVERTON clinically saw off Manchester City at Goodison Park with Romelu Lukaku, Kevin Mirallas, Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman score with their only shots on target.
After an end to end start the home side took the lead in 34th minute after Lukaku rounded off a wonderful team move as youngster Tom Davies slipped in Mirallas who cut the ball back to the Belgian who slotted it past Claudio Bravo.
City responded with a flurry chances and Everton's academy graduate Tom Davies denied them an equaliser on brink of half time after heading Bacary Sagna's effort off the line.
