Fans ask 'WTF am I watching' as man bizarrely cycles mid-air during Tour de France | The Sun

CYCLING fans were left stunned by a man bizarrely cycling mid-air during the Tour de France on Tuesday.

One viewer even asked "WTF am I watching" after the moment was caught on camera during stage four of the race.


Jasper Philipsen of Alpecin-Deceuninck claimed victory in the 181.8km flat stage between Dax and Nogaro.

However, it was something that happened next to the road which left viewers stunned.

As the riders past a pile of hay bales, a man could be seen dangling from a digger.

The machine slowly span around as the suspended man peddled on his bike over the hay bales.

Fans were left perplexed by what they had seen, with one tweeting:"What the f*** am I watching?!"

Another commented: "You have to love the health and safety aspect of it."

A third viewer also wrote: "This is like something out of Mario Kart."

Philipsen later came out on top in chaotic sprint finish to win his second consecutive stage and claim the green jersey.
