A GRIEVING sister has today revealed her heartache as she kissed her rugby player brother goodbye after he "never got up after a tackle."
Rugby star Jack Jeffrey, 27, died from his injuries as he scored a try during a match against Berkswell and Balsall in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
The Evesham RFC ace was taken to Coventry's Walsgrave Hospital but sadly passed away from his injuries later on Saturday.
And now his heartbroken family have paid tribute to "beautiful" Jack who was "loved more than words can say."
His grieving sister Daisy revealed that her 27-year-old brother had just scored a try in the match – but he never got back up after an accidental tackle.
And his beloved dad added that the rugby player died "doing the one thing he loved the most."
In a heartbroken statement, Jack's sister Daisy wrote on Facebook: "My beautiful baby brother. I can’t even believe I’m having to write these words.
"It was just a simple game of rugby, like any other Saturday doing what you loved most. You scored an amazing try but just one accidental tackle and you never got back up.

There was an outpouring of tributes for the rugby ace over the weekend – as the sport lost a "bright light" in Jack.
England Rugby said in a tribute yesterday: "All of our thoughts are with the family, friends and teammates of Jack Jeffery from Evesham RFC who tragically died yesterday."
And in a statement, a spokesperson for Evesham RFC said: "It is with immeasurable sadness that we have to report the tragic loss of our beloved Jack Jeffery following our Seniors League fixture at Berkswell and Balsall yesterday, February 12."
The club explained how "Jack was adding another try to his phenomenal record" when he was injured.
The statement continued: "A more committed, loyal 'Clubman' is hard to find…As a club, we have been overwhelmed by the messages of support and goodwill from the rugby community. Jack was calm, respected and highly thought of.
"Our club and community have lost such a bright light."
