ARSENAL fans will be hoping the club splash the cash yet again in the summer having offloaded a number of fringe players this month.
The likes of Mesut Ozil and Sokratis have had their contracts terminated in January, while Sead Kolasinac and William Saliba have been loaned out.
And the Gunners could also have money to play with as the contracts of David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi will expire at the end of the season.
Arsenal could also cash in on Alexandre Lacazette, with the French striker's deal in North London to expire in 2022.
The FA Cup holders could also part ways with the likes of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi, who left the club on loan in October.
Depending on where Arsenal finish in the Premier League table this term, Mikel Arteta could be given a healthy budget to continue the transformation of his team.
He could revive his interest in Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar after the club opted to sign Thomas Partey instead of him last year.
Meanwhile Norwich playmaker Emiliano Buendia could be eyed up in the summer with the Argentine deemed too costly this month.
And there could be competition for places with Arteta confirming that Martin Odegaard could potentially remain at Arsenal beyond his loan spell.
Bernd Leno will surely retain his place between the sticks having established himself as one of the top-flight's best goalkeepers.
Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney will most likely be the full-backs, with a centre-back pairing consisting of Rob Holding and Gabriel.

William Saliba should be eased in the starting XI when he comes back from his loan at Nice, while Pablo Mari is also an option for Arteta to consider.
Thomas Parety should be guaranteed a spot in the midfield, and he could be paired with Aouar should the Frenchman join.
Buendia could then start in the No10 if he is brought in, while Emile Smith and Odegaard could also be played instead of Aouar and the Argentinian.
With Lacazette's future in question, skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may move into the middle from his usual left wing spot.
This could then see Bukayo Saka deployed on the right flank, with Gabriel Martinelli starting on the opposite side.
