Jack Conan called into Ireland Six Nations squad vs France as cover for Peter O'Mahony in the wake of his red card

JACK CONAN has been called into the Ireland squad for Sunday’s Six Nations meeting with France.

The Leinster back row is added to the panel by Andy Farrell as cover for Peter O’Mahony, who was sent off in the weekend loss to Wales and faces a disciplinary hearing today.

Conan, 28, is the only new addition to the squad with captain Johnny Sexton and second row James Ryan now in return to play protocols following head injuries and hopes are that both can face France.

But Leinster’s Ryan Baird will train with the squad this week providing second row cover.
