    United fans dreaming of Mbappe

Manchester United fans are dreaming of signing Kylian Mbappe after his transfer bombshell emerged at the same time of reports that the Qataris have won the takeover race for the club.

The French forward has allegedly informed Paris Saint-Germain he will not extend his contract.

The Parisians will have to sell him this summer to avoid losing him for free next year.

And now United supporters are going wild over his bombshell and hope that the reports that Sheikh Jassim has won the United takeover race so they can land the World Cup winner are true.

    Morning, United fans

Rasmus Hojland is delighted United want him and the Red Devils have reportedly bid for Adrien Rabiot.

Atalanta sensation Hojland is regarded as United's main strike target, except of course for Tottennam's Harry Kane.

And the Dane star, 20, says the Red Devils are a "huge club" as he admitted he wants to “reach the top shelf”.

Meanwhile, it's claimed Juventus are ready to sell Rabiot.

The France midfielder has arguably just had his finest Serie A season with eight goals and four assists from 32 games.

Arsenal and Chelsea have previously been linked with the 37-cap ex-PSG star, 28.

It's understood Liverpool have ducked out of a duel with United for Chelsea's England playmaker Mount.

But the Red Devils are thought to be struggling to persuade the Blues to lower their £70m valuation.

Finally, United are reportedly refusing to match Porto's £64m asking price for keeper Diogo Costa.

Liverpool 'pave way for Utd over Mason'

Liverpool have reportedly admitted defeat in their pursuit of Manchester United target Mason Mount.

The Red Devils are hoping to wrap up a move for the midfielder by negotiating a fee lower than Chelsea’s £70million valuation.

Liverpool were also thought to have held interest in Mount, making him one of their top targets earlier this year.

But Jurgen Klopp has since wrapped up an initial £35m deal for Brighton playmaker Alexis Mac Allister.

And the Mirror claims the Reds have now pulled out of the battle for Mount.

They understand the England star has already agreed personal terms with United.

The Reds are also unwilling to go anywhere near Chelsea’s £70m price tag – having paid half that for World Cup winner Mac Allister.

Red Devils unhappy with Brandon's City dig

United are unhappy with Brandon Williams for a bizarre dig at Manchester City's historic Treble triumph.

City won their first ever Champions League trophy on Saturday followingPremier League and FA Cup glory.

The Citizens emulated United's legendary achievement from 1999, and it appears that left Williams feeling a little bitter.

The Red Devils' left-back went on a strange rant on social media as he described City's success as "sloppy seconds".

Williams posted on Instagram: "Nobody wants sloppy seconds."

The 22-year-old then criticised United legend Rio Ferdinand after the BT Sport pundit congratulated Jack Grealish and his City team-mates.

The full-back felt Ferdinand was wrong to praise the club's rivals given his allegiances to the Old Trafford outfit.

Williams added: "@rioferdy5 Bet you don't congratulate if you was [a] player. Keep the same morals. Two face are boring."

According to ESPN, the club is disappointed with the ex-England youth international's comments.

The Red Devils are also distancing themselves from the defender's jibes as they are "not welcomed".

'Casemiro means Utd don't need Declan'

Manchester United don't need Arsenal target Declan Rice, according to the two clubs' ex-defender Mikael Silvestre.

The Frenchman reckons Old Traford boss Erik ten Hag would prefer to field just one anchorman – and already has Brazilian Casemiro.

West Ham's England midfielder Rice could cost a British record fee of more than £100million.

And Silvestre told bettingexpert.com:  “When you have Casemiro, I don’t think you need Declan Rice.

"It’s not the way Erik wants to play, with two sitting defensive midfielders.

"I don’t think that’s the best option. “It’s not what United needs.”

    Rasmus hails 'huge club' United

Manchester United target Rasmus Hojland admits he wants to "reach the top shelf" – such as joining the Red Devils.

Atalanta's Danish frontman is delighted "huge club" United are keen.

Hojlund is rated as the Red Devils' main strike target behind only Harry Kane.

And he told home country newspaper Berlingske: "For sure Manchester United is huge club…

"I must have done something right if reports say they want to sign me this summer!

“My goal is to reach the top shelf — you can say that Manchester United is."

But Hojland added: “Erik Ten Hag? Honestly there has been no video call with him."

‘Love to see Klopp land Declan'

Peter Crouch is dreaming of Arsenal’s top target Declan Rice joining Liverpool – even though Alexis mac Allister is a “good signing”.

But the ex-Tottenham and England striker reckons the West Ham skipper could be too costly for his former club the Reds.

Crouch told Paddy Power: “Alexis Mac Allister is a good signing for Liverpool. He’s a great player but the fans will want more signings before next season.

“Defensive reinforcements and another midfielder would be welcome.

“I know he’s being linked elsewhere but I’d absolutely love to see Declan Rice come in as well.

“He’s a class act and I think he could go to any club and be a great signing for them. It probably won’t be Liverpool as he’s going to be very expensive, but it would be a great addition.”

    United 'launch Rabiot bid'

Manchester United have reportedly bid for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The Frenchman previously linked with Arsenal and Chelsea finished the season with eight goals and four assists from 32 Serie A games.

    And the 37-cap ex-PSG star, 28, won't come cheap.

Real on red alert after Mbappe contract decision

Kylian Mbappe has sparked huge transfer interest by telling PSG he will not extend his contract an extra year beyond June 2024.

The regular Real Madrid target has also been linked – rather optimistically – with Liverpool and Manchester United in the past.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealed Mbappe, 24, has told PSG of his decision.

And Romano suggests there is "no plan" to lose him for free.

That is likely to trigger a big-money scramble this summer.

    Legend to Legend

Pep Guardiola has revealed that he got a touching message from Sir Alex Ferguson on the morning of the Champions League final.

The Manchester City manager became the second manager in English football to complete a historic treble after beating Inter Milan in Istanbul, Turkey.

The 1-0 win over the Serie A side, thanks to Rodri's strike, added to the Citizens Premier League and FA Cup victories.

Ferguson was the first to achieve the feat with Manchester United in the 1998/99 season.

The Red Devils completed the treble with a dramatic Champions League win over Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich.

After the game, the City manager revealed that the Scot had messaged him ahead of the game.

Guardiola said: "It's an honour for me to be alongside Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I got a message from him this morning.

"It touched me. It was nice."

'I'd only be keen on Chelsea if I'll be first choice'

Leeds' former Manchester United target Illan Meslier says he'd only be interested in joining Chelsea as first-choice keeper.

Temporary Elland Road boss Sam Allardyce dropped Meslier for Joel Robles after late-season errors.

And Chelsea have shown an interest as they are willing to offload current stoppers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.

But Inter Milan's Andre Onana is rated as the Blues' preferred signing to become their new No1.

And Meslier said: “If it is to go and be on the bench, I’m not interested in that.

“If it’s to be the number one, of course, you can’t say ‘I’m not interested in Chelsea."

“I’d prefer to go to a less reputable club where I’ll have more game time than a top European club where I’d sit on the bench.”

    Gunners 'prepare £92m Rice bid'

Arsenal could be ready to bid £92million for Declan Rice – amid claims Manchester United are hotting up their interest.

West Ham have confirmed their skipper is leaving, with Bayern Munich also keen on the England midfielder.

The Hammers want up to £110million for the 24-year-old.

But the Gunners are ready to test the waters with what could be the first serious bid of the summer for Rice.

    Di'Shon his way out

Di’Shon Bernard has been released by United.

The defender, 22, made one first-team appearance after coming through the Red Devils’ academy.

His one senior outing came under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, when the ex-Man Utd boss threw him into a Europa League clash with Astana in 2019.

Bernard subsequently had to bide his time, spending the following two seasons on loan at Salford and Hull.

He was surprisingly restored to first team training during the first half of the 2022-23 season under Erik ten Hag.

But the Dutchman never opted to select Bernard for a matchday squad.

    Keeper too Costa-ly

Man Utd will not pay the fee Porto want for keeper Diogo Costa.

The Portuguese giants are reportedly demanding £64million, claim A Bola.

Costa is under contract until 2027, so Porto hold all the aces.

    New Addition?

Man Utd fans are convinced that Rasmus Hojlund will join the club after he revealed he has the same agent as Erik ten Hag.

The Atalanta striker is one of Man United's striker targets this summer as the club looks to bolster its attacking options.

And United's hopes of landing the Dane appear to have been boosted as he has joined the SEG agency, which also represents Ten Hag.

Hojlund told media at the national team camp in Helsingør: "I have got someone [an agent company]. But they are on a trial period.

"It's a trial period, and that's all I can say."

The Athletic have previously reported that the agency is that of the SEG agency.

When asked about the rumoured interest from Man United Hojlund admitted that people will have to "wait and see".

He added: "It is a huge club, so I must have done something right if it says that they want me.

"We have to see what happens. As you see and hear, I could well imagine that a lot could happen in relation to a couple of strikers this summer.

"There are many clubs that lack a nine, so something will definitely happen in relation to that, and then we will have to see if I am in it."

    Loan Groan

Newcastle want to rescue Harry Maguire from Manchester United on LOAN — but they will have to buy him.

The England centre-half can leave Old Trafford if the deal is right, though the Red Devils will not loan him to Toon as it would be helping a rival with no financial benefit.

If the Magpies come in with a cash offer it would be a different story and also show how serious they are about Maguire.

Aston Villa are watching developments as they want extra cover in the squad for their European campaign.

Villa would have a better chance of a loan deal being accepted by United.

Tottenham are linked with the 30-year-old but are yet to make a play.

    Saliba Shock

A shock new report has claimed that one of Arsenal’s Premier League rivals has failed with a cheeky transfer approach for William Saliba.

The 22-year-old defender is set to sign a new long-term contract with the Gunners.

It is understood that the contract, which will run to 2027 with the possibility of an option for a further 12 months, will be worth around £200,000-per-week.

That is considerably more than Arsenal were hoping to pay Saliba, whose current salary is only £40,000-a-week.

SunSport exclusively reported last month how Arsenal were in shock at his demands.

Now RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins has claimed that Manchester United cheekily attempted to try and pounce on the uncertainty with a shock surprise swoop.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich were also interested in Saliba with his present deal expiring in 2024.

    Teem News

Premier League cult hero Teemu Pukki could reportedly be set for a move to the MLS.

The Finnish striker is a free agent after leaving Norwich City at the end of the season.

Pukki, 33, spent five years with the Canaries and helped the club achieve two promotions to the Premier League since joining from Brondby in 2018.

During his five years at the club, he netted 88 goals in 204 appearances for the Norfolk outfit.

Now searching for a new club, the former Manchester United target could move across the Atlantic.

MLS outfit Minnesota United are looking to improve its attacking options, and according to Pioneer Press, they are closing in on the signing of Pukki.

The report claims that the club are "nearing the signing" of the striker.

    Beck and Call

Romeo Beckham could be closer to achieving his Premier League dream as he could reportedly stay at Brentford.

The son of David Beckham joined the Bees' B team on loan in January from MLS side Inter Miami II, the franchise owned by the former Manchester United star.

Beckham, 20, helped the B team win the Premier League Cup and left a good impression on Brentford B boss Neil MacFarlane.

The winger was expected to return to Miami after his six-month loan spell ended.

However, ongoing talks could see Beckham remain at the Gtech Community Stadium, according to the Daily Mail.

The report does not specify if it would be a permanent switch or another loan.

However, MacFarlane insisted that he is more than happy to continue working with the youngster.

MacFarlane told the Daily Mail: "He has been a pivotal member of what has been a special group this year.

"There will be a decision made on Romeo.

"I have no qualms in putting my name to him – I want to help his development again.

"I'd have no problem whatsoever if he was to stay here and we continue his development at Brentford."

  • He's a Keeper

Man Utd are ready to move for England No 1 Jordan Pickford whether David de Gea leaves or not.

Boss Eric ten Hag wants a top shotstopper this summer to either rival De Gea or replace him if he does not agree a new contract.

Pickford, 29, is the keeper at the top of their list and Everton may sell at around £30million.

The extrovert was excellent as the Toffees beat the drop but the Merseyside club need money.

England No 1 Pickford would love to play in the Champions League, which is missing from his CV.
