Meet Lieke Klaver, the world’s sexiest sprinter who is ‘breaking’ TikTok and sending followers wild with steamy snaps | The Sun

SPRINTER Lieke Klaver is breaking TikTok with her steamy snaps.

As one of the world's sexiest athletes, Klaver is seen as a rival to Alica Schmidt's throne.

The Dutch track and field star failed to win a medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, but did pick up a lot support online.

Klaver competed in the mixed and women's relay races for the Netherlands.

And even without her own TikTok account, she regularly trends on the social media platform.

TikTokers have been hashtagging her name in posts as they admire her looks and often joke that they will move to Holland.

She started running at the age of nine and has been an Olympic finalist on two occasions.

Klaver won gold in the European Indoor Championships in 2021 and 2023 in the 4x400m relay.

She also won gold in the same event at the European Championships in 2022.

The 24-year-old is more than just her performances on the track though, as she studied at the HAN University of Applied Sciences.

But she does not let it get in the way of training, which she does nine times a week with her rest day being on Sunday.

Klaver had previously admitted that she had "no interest in athletics" until her mother convinced her to "give it a try".

She added: "I really wanted to dance but my mother thought, ‘You are always running with your brother so you two can take up athletics?'

“At first, I was focused on the 100m and 200m events, but due to my height, my coach said to try the 400m.”

Her Instagram account is filled with snaps of her in races and training.

But when she is away from the track, she enjoys time with her friends and taking holidays.
