PAUL POGBA has admitted he is "sad" that Manchester United have failed to win a trophy for five years.
But he did hint at staying with the Red Devils by signing a contract extension beyond this summer.
Pogba, 29, returned to Old Trafford in 2016 for £89million.
But his only pieces of silverware came in that first season back – the League Cup and Europa League under Jose Mourinho in 2017.
United came close by reaching the Europa League final last year, losing on penalties, but will be left empty handed again this term following their Champions League exit against Atletico Madrid.
It guarantees the Old Trafford giants' worst trophy drought in 40 YEARS.

And Pogba – who won four consecutive Serie A crowns with Juventus and the World Cup in 2018 – is not happy about the team's failure to challenge.
He told Telefoot: "I want to win titles, to play for something and this year and the last few years we haven't won a title. It's sad.
“The season is not over yet, but almost because we don't have any more titles to play for."
Pogba has endured a rough time again this season with injuries, struggles to finish in the top four and, on a personal level, getting burgled.

His current contract expires in the summer and he has thus far refused to sign any extension offers tabled by United – even with a 12-month addition clause available.
But despite interest from Juventus, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain as well as Newcastle and Aston Villa over a free transfer, Pogba insisted nothing is sorted just yet.
And he may well end up lining up in red again next term after all.
'NOTHING IS DONE'
Pogba – who is currently away on international duty with France – added: “Nothing is decided on my future, nothing is done.
"I can decide tomorrow, just as I can decide during the transfer window.
"I want to bounce back and finish the season well.
"Totally [playing for France is a breath of fresh air]. That's the truth.
"There were difficult moments at United and I needed this break to regain my energy and confidence.
"Sometimes when I wasn't playing or the results weren't good, coming here, it gives a boost, a breath of air that also helps me to come back well to my club."
