People are only just realising Harry Maguire’s real name with England's World Cup star instead going by middle name | The Sun

FOOTBALL fans are shocked to learn a little-known fact about Manchester United and England star Harry Maguire.

Everyone knows he cost the Red Devils an eye-watering £80million, some know he started his career at Sheffield United, but few know his real name.

Yes, Harry is not actually his first name, but his middle name.

Maguire's first name is Jacob, but he has gone by Harry from an early age.

The United centre-back, 29, has also gone by the affectionate nickname "Slabhead" – earned thanks to his aerial prowess as well as his rather large skull.

Fans were amused to discover Maguire's real name after taking a peak at his Wikipedia profile.
