He comes over from Ireland for canny Emmet Mullins who has booked top apprentice Benoit De La Sayette for the ride.
He was a solid fifth in the Group 1 Prix Royal Oak at Longchamp when last seen in October and looks well up to this standard.
PERFECT POWER (3.00 Newbury, nb)
He improved with every run last season and signed off with back-to-back Group 1 victories.
He won the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot over five furlongs but left that behind upped in trip to score at Deauville before taking the Middle Park at Newmarket. He’s bred to improve for this extra furlong and has more to come.
ROGUE BEAR (3.35 Newbury, treble)
He had no luck in the Lincoln at Doncaster last time, finishing with lots left after meeting traffic problems.
He may have needed the outing too after five months off. He likes this trip and has a big chance off the same mark.
