RAISING THE BAR (nap) should take his form to another level in Fakenham’s 4.50.
He ran in bumpers but missed last year before returning with a nice Sandown effort on his hurdles debut early in February.
After making the running he only folded in the closing stages and he should improve for that run.
A repeat of those pace-setting tactics should also help.
KUPA RIVER (6.15 Wolverhampton, nb) has been unlucky not to hit the target on his last two starts.
He was mugged by well-weighted Martineo over today’s course and distance in January and he is clearly ready to win one of these races.
Templegate’s Treble
NAP – RAISING THE BAR, 4.50 Fakenham: "Ran well for a long way on comeback and should be sharper now."
NB – KUPA RIVER, 6.15 Wolverhampton: "Unlucky the last twice and surely his turn is near."
TREBLE – CYBALKO, 2.20 Southwell: "Cheekpieces fitted and this looks a good opening."
CYBALKO (2.20 Southwell, treble) made a promising debut of this track and trip in October.
Going right-handed did not suit him at Leicester and his Plumpton effort in January was better.
With cheekpieces on for the first time he looks a good bet to see off some exposed old timers.
