One day before suffering multiple leg injuries in a single-car accident in Los Angeles, Tiger Woods had remained in Southern California for a photo shoot and to provide golf lessons at Rolling Hills Country Club to a few celebrities, including retired NBA star Dwyane Wade and comedian David Spade.
Woods was in Los Angeles over the weekend as the tournament host of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, where he presented the championship trophy to winner Max Homa.
The 15-time major winner spent Monday filming a shoot with Golf Digest and Golf TV, with Spade joking that he gave Woods golf lessons, not the other way around.
Wade also posted a video to Instagram from the golf course with a jovial Woods chiming in from the background.
“So I told you I was about to do something amazing today,” Wade said. “And I got an opportunity…I say the GOAT. He’s not comfortable with it, but an opportunity to come out with this guy right here, man.
“Tiger thank you, for teaching me something. How good am I, or how bad am I?”
A laughing Woods replied playfully: “Good? We’re getting better.”
“We’re getting better,” Wade continued. “So everybody be on the lookout, I got some lessons today. I got some lessons from what I think is the GOAT, Tiger Woods. Thank you, brother, I appreciate it.”
