MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea have reportedly dropped out of the race to sign Kylian Mbappe.
The PSG star is set to leave the club this summer after revealing that he has no new plans to sign a new deal.
Mbappe, 24, has been heavily linked with a move to either Real Madrid or Saudi outfit Al-Hilal.
However, the Premier League duo were also interested in acquiring his services.
They have suffered a blow in the race to sign Mbappe though as he has agreed a move to Madrid ahead of his contract expiring next summer, according to L'Equipe.
The report has also claimed that Al-Hilal have also had a world record £258million bid for the forward accepted by PSG.

With the Ligue 1 outfit keen to move Mbappe on this summer rather than lose him for free, the report has claimed that there is "a chance" he could be loaned for the next season.
It is also suggested that Barcelona, Inter Milan and Tottenham have also enquired about the player.
Mbappe appears to be calm about the situation despite being dropped from PSG's pre-season tour of Japan.
He was teased by basketball star Giannis Antetokounmpo who tweeted: "Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe 😂😂👀."

However, the French international took it in good spirits as he replied with a row of laughing face emojis.
Mbappe's deal at PSG expires at the end of the season but he has been told he will be sold if he refuses to sign a new contract.
Al-Hilal have reportedly offered him £11.6m-a-week to join.
That adds up to a staggering £603m-a-year, which would make him the highest-paid athlete of all time.
