WWE stars turn on legend Kane after controversial US abortion rights ruling as Paige leads furious backlash | The Sun

PAIGE was among the wrestling stars who slammed WWE legend Kane after he praised the controversial US abortion ruling.

Shockingly, it was confirmed on Friday that the Supreme Court had overturned the landmark ruling Roe V Wade, eliminating nearly 50 years of constitutional protections for abortion.

The decision ultimately means that abortion procedures will be banned in about half of America's states.

And 13 states have so-called trigger laws in place that will see abortion banned within 30 days.

Kane – real name Glenn Jacobs – is now the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

And he hailed the ruling as a victory despite it dividing the nation.

He tweeted: "Roe v. Wade has been overturned!

"This clears the way for states like TN to pass stronger protections for the unborn, and is an answer to a prayer for so many. #RightToLife #Victory."

Paige, who recently announced she will be leaving WWE at the end of her contract in July after 11 years with the company, hit back with a brutally honest assessment of Jacobs' controversial opinion.

The former WWE Divas Champion – real name Saraya-Jade Bevis – said: "Glenn you were an idol of mine and I sung your praises to anyone I met.
