YAYA TOURE could follow former boss Manuel Pellegrini to West Ham.
Pellegrini, 64, is set to be appointed as the new Hammers manager today, replacing the axed David Moyes.
And the Telegraph claim his relationship with Ivory Coast midfielder Toure will boost West Ham's chances of landing him.
Toure, 35, is a free agent after finishing the season with City.
West Ham have reportedly already held talks with the former Barcelona star but were put off by his wage demands.
Pell, who won the Premier League with Toure in 2014, may have more success in negotiations.
Pep Guardiola called time on Toure's eight-year Etihad stay, in which he won three Prem titles, the FA Cup and two League Cups.
But the Spaniard insists he still has what it takes to succeed in the top-flight.
Guardiola said: "I am not the right guy to say to him what is the best. He will choose.
“I think he has still the desire to play. He loves to play football. He likes the game and he enjoys the training sessions, especially with the ball.

Toure began his career in Belgium before enjoying spells in Ukraine and Greece.
He signed for Monaco in 2006 and was snapped up by Barcelona the following season, spending three years there before joining City.
