A 22-year-old man has died after being shot in Aurora on Tuesday night.
The shooting happened at about 9:45 p.m. in the 10200 block of East 22nd Avenue, police said in a news release. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are looking for two men who were wearing masks as suspects in the shooting.
In another incident, a 26-year-old man was shot dead in an Aurora alley on Saturday night. That fatal shooting happened at about 9:15 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Del Mar Parkway, police said.
The two shooting scenes are about 1/2 mile apart and investigators are checking to see if the incidents are connected, the release said.
