Adult film star found dead in her bed after sending cryptic two-word final tweet

Pornhub star Yurizan Beltran was found dead on this day five years ago (December 13, 2017) after sending one final cryptic tweet.

The tragedy occurred just eight days after another when August Ames, also a famous porn star, was found dead in a Los Angeles park.

Beltran, 31, who was better known as Yuri Luv, starred in over 200 pornographic films – including one where she portrayed Kourtney Kardashian – and was nominated for several awards.

She even appeared in two non-pornographic films, Werewolf in a Women's Prison in 2006 and White on Rice in 2017.

Beltran was found dead by her landlord, lying on her bed beside a spilled bottle of pills at her apartment in Los Angeles.

Her official cause of death was ruled bronchopneumonia (inflammation of the lungs) caused by an overdose of hydrocodone, a prescription opioid.

The porn star left a harrowing two-word message just hours before her dead body was discovered.

It read: "Bye Felicia". The phrase originally comes from 1995 comedy film Friday and is "the phrase to get anyone out of your face" according to Ice Cube, who starred in the film and co-wrote the script.

The tweet also had a link to an Instagram post with the same caption.

Beltran was part of the PornStar Platinum network for performers. The company's director Dan Hogue said in a statement after her death: "It is with a heavy heart I write this.

"The entire PornStar Platinum family is in mourning at the news of the loss of one of its family members.

"Yuri was found today at the age of 31. She was always kind to me and we will miss her."

Several fellow porn stars also paid tribute to Beltran.

Marley Brinx tweeted: "R.I.P Yuri, Another beautiful angel gone too soon."
