Ann Arbor hotel stabbing sees 'three women injured including one in critical condition' after knife rampage

A MAN stabbed three women leaving one critically injured following a knife attack at a hotel this morning.

According to reports, officers responded to a report of the multiple stabbing at 1.31am on Sunday morning in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The attack occurred a the Sonesta Suites, 800 Victors Way in Ann Arbor near the Pittsfield Township border, according to a Ann Arbor Police Department news release.

Police arrived to find three women with stab wounds and discovered the incident occurred inside a hotel room which one of the victims was renting at the time.

The victim in critical condition is said to be a 27-year-old resident of Ypsilanti.

She suffered multiple stab wounds in the horrifying attack, police said.

The officer on the scene packed he critically injured woman's wounds and applied a tourniquet.

Paramedics then arrived before transporting her to the University of Michigan Hospital.

The other two victims are a 36-year-old woman and a 33-year-old woman, that were staying in the rental room.

Both are currently recovering in stable condition at the same hospital, police have confirmed.

Police are nw hunting for a 47-year-old male suspect, whose last known address is also in Ypsilanti.

They are currently attempting to locate him and discuss the stabbing incident, police said.

A motive is unknown at this time.
