Boris Johnson will ask world leaders to sustain support for Ukraine as he gives extra £429million in support | The Sun

WORLD leaders will be asked by Boris Johnson today not to give up on Ukraine as he stumps up an extra £429million support for the war-torn country.

The PM will warn that any sign of fatigue or wavering will play right into Vladimir Putin’s hands.

He will say at the G7 summit that it is vital that financial and military aid is sustained for Volodymyr Zelensky’s Ukrainian heroes.

The PM will caution against a peace deal with Russia that would hand “huge chunks” of Ukraine to Putin.

He said: “Future generations will be awed and inspired by the truly heroic Ukrainian resistance in the face of Putin’s barbarism.

“Ukraine can win and it will win. But they need our backing to do so.
