Brits want a beer with ex-party boy Prince Harry over other royals, survey says

The British public has spoken, and it has decided that it grab a beer with Prince Harry more than any other Royal Family member.

Despite being perceived as being one of the most unpopular royals, due to leaving the UK with wife Meghan Markle and being on the verge of releasing a tell-all memoir, it appears that the man recently voted as the “sexiest ginger alive” does have fans out there.

New research from WeLoveBrum.co.uk has revealed the top royal family members Brits would most like to join them for a pint at their local, with the Duke of Sussex topping the poll.

Whether it’s a quick weekday pint or a Saturday drinking session, the Duke beat the likes of Kate Middleton and brother Prince William – the Prince and Princess of Wales – who placed in second and third respectively.

He might welcome a pint at the minute, as his book Spare is due to his store shelves a few weeks after Christmas – which he is not spending with the Royal Family in Sandringham, despite it being the first one since the death of Her Majesty The Queen earlier this year – on January 10, 2023.

Harry's wife Meghan and fellow royal Zara Tindall also made the top five, while Princess Anne came in sixth.

Harry was a clear favourite across the majority of the UK, nabbing the top spot in London (24%), Manchester (27%), Nottingham (31%), Liverpool (20%), Belfast (32%), Brighton (22%) and Glasgow (28%).

However, Bristol (31%), Cardiff (24%) and Norwich (27%) would rather opt for a civilized drink with Kate Middleton, who placed first across those cities.

Brits also had their say on King Charles and his wife Queen Consort Camilla, who may be too busy settling into their new royal titles for a trip down to their local boozer, as they placed seventh and eighth spot on the leader board.
