Broomfield’s Anthem area includes Anthem Ranch, Anthem Highlands

Broomfield’s Anthem neighborhood is a collection of three villages that offer homeowners more space and spectacular views.

Anthem Highlands appeals to families. Anthem Ranch provides homes for residents 55-plus. And Anthem Reserve offers custom and semi-custom homes that sit on larger homesites at Broomfield’s highest point.

What’s appealing?

Community amenities include Siena Reservoir, a natural stone amphitheater, 22 parks, and 48 miles of trails. Anthem also has two community centers.

Parkside Center, a resort-style community center, serves Anthem Reserve and Anthem Highlands residents. It offers everything from yoga and spinning to basketball, swimming, and endurance training.

Aspen Lodge, a 32,000-square-foot recreation center, serves Anthem Ranch residents exclusively and provides a fitness center plus activities ranging from indoor and outdoor swimming pools to bocce ball and pickleball.

Connie Cimato, an 8z real estate agent, lives in Anthem Ranch. The age-restricted community requires at least one resident per household to be 55, and no children under 18 are allowed to live in the neighborhood.

“I love it,” she says. “It’s like a big family here. People get to know each other quickly and are happy to help each other out.”

Anthem Ranch offers its residents activities from more than 200 clubs, a summer concert series, and activities like a clam bake, bourbon tasting, and parties for Halloween, New Year’s, and St. Patrick’s Day.

Anthem Highlands offers activities for kids and families, including a summer camp, a trick-or-treat event, summer luau, and the Battle of the Blocks.

What’s available?

While both Anthem Ranch and Anthem Highlands are built out, houses occasionally become available and typically sell within two to three days, Cimato says.

Anthem Ranch, as its name would suggest, offers ranch-style houses, some with basements. Prices range from $600,000 to $1.5 million. The home’s size and view determine its worth, Cimato says.

Houses in Anthem Highlands are typically bigger two-story homes with basements. Prices range from $700,000 to $1.6 million.

In Anthem Reserve, Copper Homes Limited builds custom and semi-custom ranch and two-story homes that start at $1.2 million and range in size from 2,500 to 3,700 square feet, plus basements.

Who’s moving in?

Anthem Highlands appeals to younger families or couples planning to start their families. While Anthem Ranch appeals to seniors who want an active lifestyle, Cimato says.

Anthem Highland homes offer families more room floor plans that provide 2,000 to 6,000 square feet, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Many homes feature loft areas and finished basements, offering families room for parents who work from home.

“It’s amazing how beautiful it is. The people moving here have been pretty creative, and these houses have the room to let them be creative,” Cimato says.
