Disturbing footage shows a sobbing woman taking off her shirt to mop up the blood of her fiancé who was shot dead outside a restaurant in Portland, Oregon.
In the clip, recorded on Monday, March 1, Melissa Moore bends over the crime scene in tears and strips down to her bra so she can collect the blood of Billy Peters.
She wipes away tears as she bends down and soaks his blood off the tarmac with a white shirt while other friends make handprints in the blood in memento of him.
Billy, 40, was shot outside the Acropolis steakhouse and strip club on Saturday night alongside his friend Adam David-Lawrence Arrambide, Oregan Live reports.
Writing on Facebook, Melissa, who has a four-year-old daughter with Billy, said: "This hurts so bad.
"I had to put his blood on my shirt and take it home with me forever."
She said she wanted the footage to be shared to show the trauma and devastation caused by gun violence.
Melissa told KOIN: "I think nothing will probably come unless we keep pushing it like this."

A fundraiser has been set up to pay for Billy's funeral expenses and help Melissa continue his successful print business 503PRINT which he'd founded in his garage.
The tribute read: "Billy was an innocent bystander taken by the influx of gun violence that has been happening all around the Portland area.
"He was an amazing friend to many people, loved his daughter and his family unconditionally."
It continued: "Even if you cannot donate please say a prayer for all involved and his family and brother who help him for his last breath.
"Say a prayer for his precious daughter that will now go a lifetime without her father."
