Temperatures will rebound quickly Friday and through the weekend after a snowstorm dropped large amounts of snow across the Denver metro area earlier this week.
Friday will be sunny with a high of 56 degrees and light winds of about five to eight mph. That trend will continue through next Tuesday as temperatures reach the 50s and 60s before another midweek storm enters the forecast next Wednesday.
The low Friday night will be 27 degrees, then Saturday will get back up to a sunny high of 56 degrees. Winds will again be mild at about seven mph, then Saturday’s low will drop down to 28 degrees.
Sunday will have the biggest weather changes of the weekend, as high winds with gusts of about 30 mph will be possible. The high temperature will be a bit lower than previous days, but still a mild 51 degrees. Sunday night will also be breezy as lows drop to 29 degrees.
President’s Day, Monday, is expected to be warmer with a high of 59 degrees, and the day will be mostly sunny. The low Monday night will stay above freezing for a change at 35 degrees, then Tuesday will be the warmest day with a high of 60 degrees.
There is a slight chance of rain Tuesday night, then snow will be likely on Wednesday.
